The Clyde W. Roddy Public Library offers free library cards to all Rhea and surrounding county residents. To receive a library card you must fill out an application in person with proof of residency. 

Proof of residency, including name and street address, is required:: 

• Tennessee Driver's License or Non-Driver's Photo ID 

If Tennessee Driver's License or Non-Driver's Photo ID isn't current then we will accept one of the following along with another  photo ID  (out of state license, Passport, work ID) 

• Tennessee State automobile registration or insurance card
• Voter's registration card 
• Utility bill

Age 18 & over: Proof of Residency
Ages 16-17: Proof of residency or parent/legal guardian with residency requirements
Ages 5-15: Parent/legal guardian with residency requirements (Parent needs a library card to link accounts)
