What is TEL ?
TEL is the Tennessee Electronic Library - a collection of online databases available to you at no cost through your public, academic, school and non-profit libraries.
Who pays for TEL?
TEL is administered by the Tennessee State Library and Archives, a division of the Tennessee Secretary of State's office. Currently, funds for TEL are made available under the Federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Additional funding from the State of Tennessee will be needed in the future to continue TEL.

How do I access TEL?

When you access the databases you can either search all databases at once or individually. Some of the databases only have indexes and not full text articles. If you search databases individually you can check a box to only show you full text articles.
